Vahram Sahakyan was not beaten, police spokesman Ashot Aharonyan told Panorama.am, when asked to comment on reports circulating on the web claiming that writer Vahram Sahakyan is in grave condition after alleged beating, and has allegedly reported the incident to police.

“It is not true. We have seen these reports. Police went to his home and found out that he had not been beaten,” said Aharonyan.

According to reports, Vahram Sahakyan’s condition is not so good. Witnesses say “his condition is the result of not beating but rather abuse of something.”
