This year the 70th anniversary of Armenian jazz will be celebrated and some concerts are planned to be held devoted to it. World wide famous jazz musicians are invited to take part in the concerts, said Karen Kocharyan the public relations specialist of “Armenian jazz 70” organization.

According to him due to the special event “Armenian jazz 70” organization was established and the head of it is Levon Malkhasyan, the members of it are Konstantin Orbelyan, Martin Vardazaryan, Ervand Erznkyan, Armen Tutundjyan, Armen Martirosyan and others. He said that on 4 April Martin Vardazaryan’s 70 anniversary will be celebrated.
According to the source the organizations carries out some negotiations with the international jazz bands to invite them to Armenia.
