Gérard Depardieu, the renowned French actor became a prize winner at the “Karot” International Armenian festival. He was awarded with Medal of Honor of Armenian National Assembly. Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan presented the medal to the actor.

Remind that the third “Karot” International Armenian Festival was underway in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh September 2-7. Gérard Depardieu has arrived in Armenia in the sidelines of the festival.

Among the other Karpt medal awardees are Charles Aznavour, Nikolay Rizhkov, Vladimir Spivakov, Armen Jigarkhanyan, Jivan Gasparyan, Iosif Kobzon, Constantine Orbelyan, Sos sargsyan, Andrey Bitov, etc.
