In the fall of 2012 Armenia plans to have culture days in Lebanon, Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan said in a meeting with Lebanese Culture Minister Gabi Leyun and Mayor of Beirut Bilal Hamad. The officials have agreed that the initiative will strengthen bilateral cultural relations.

According to Foreign Ministry information department Armenian Ambassador and Lebanese Minister have also discussed an issue to hold annual Armenian musical festival in Lebanon.

Ambassador Kocharyan invited his Lebanese colleagues to take part in festive events dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing and Yerevan – book capital program scheduled in April.
