Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia Sergey Smbatyan on August 28.

At the meeting, the parties focused on a number of issues related to the development of culture in Artsakh.

Artsakh President expressed his gratitude to Sergey Smbatyan for the concert held in Stepanakert on the sidelines of festive events dedicated to the 21st anniversary of the Artsakh Republic proclamation, noting that the concert was accepted by the audience with great enthusiasm.

President Sahakyan emphasized the importance of such events for the development of culture and in this context stressed the need for close cooperation with the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia.

NKR Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs Narine Aghabalyan was also present at the meeting, Artsakh President’s press service reported.
