12 strongest woman chess players participate in the tournament: Hou Yifan (China), Humpy Koneru (India), Zhao Xue (China), Kateryna Lahno (Ukraine), Czyuy Venczyun (China), Nadezhda Kosintseva (Russia), Zhuan Lufey (China), Elina Danielian (Armenia), Nino Khurtsidze (Georgia), Lilit Mkrtchian (Armenia), Bat Mongotul (Mongolia), and Yekaterina Kovalevskaya (Russia).

The first round will be held Tuesday, July 17. July 23 is announced as a rest day in the tournament.
