Besides the political agenda, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian’s visit to Japan includes an economic component as well, MFA press office says. In Tokyo FM paid a visit to Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), where he met with the President of the Organization Yasuo Hayashi. The parties discussed the perspectives for the development of trade-economic cooperation between two countries.

Prior to that, E. Nalbandian had meetings with Japan Parliament Speaker Takahiro Yokomichi and FM Katsuya Okad.

Yasuo Hayashi introduced the JETRO activity and said the organization is interested in establishing and intensifying ties with the Armenian partners. During the meeting agreement was reached over an organization representative’s upcoming visit to Yerevan.

Tomorrow the Armenian FM is due to meet with His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Narohito of Japan.
