Armenia, Russia agree to build new nuclear units in Armenia

Armenian government approved today of the suggestion on signing a cooperation agreement between the governments of Armenia and Russia on building new nuclear units in Armenia.

Earlier the government also agreed to equip the newly constructed Armenian nuclear unit with Russian hydro-power reactor infrastructures, as well as establish Armenian-Russian joint “Metsamorenergaatom” CJSC, which is open to other investors, according to the government's information department.
