Armenia has more than 1 million internet subscribers

 

Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia (PSRC) told Panorama.am 1 million 396550 internet subscribers are officially recorded in Armenia, this figures includes GPRS and physical and judicial bodies. According to the official data that figure greatly differs if GPRS subscribers are not listed – 132 493.   

PSRC gets information from about 60 providers. New data about the second term aren’t yet available.

According to Internet World Stats web site Armenia recorded 208 thousand 200 internet users. 

Experts are alarmed by these figures since the there are more internet users than subscribers in Armenia.

Suicides, depression cost Japan US$32 billion
