Euro-Caucasus Conference of Cardiology gets under way in Yerevan

At the initiative of Armenian Diaspora Ministry, Euro-Caucasus Conference of Cardiology got under way in Yerevan today, under the high patronage of PM Tigran Sargsyan, with participation of the Healthcare Ministry.

Over 100 professors, doctors from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, France, Syria, Israel are to deliver reports at the conference due October 29-30.

At the opening ceremony of the conference PM signified similar initiatives and highlighted the significance of the experience exchange.

As he said, the conference aims at revealing and consolidating the potential of the Armenian cardiologists for the preservation of the health of the Armenian nation and for developing the medical science in Armenia.

Healthcare Minister Harutyun Kushkyan said the conference will not only provide opportunities to reveal new methods for diagnosis, but new approaches to the development of cardiology will be put forth.
