Woman, 92, kills 98-year-old husband
An elderly Australian woman could spend the rest of her golden years behind bars - for killing her even older husband.
The 92-year-old woman was charged with the murder of her 98-year-old husband after he was found dead in their Australia home on Friday.
Police discovered his lifeless body with head injuries in the living room after concerned relatives contacted them, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
Clara Tang was arrested at the scene and her husband's body was taken for an autopsy to "formally establish how he died," police said.
A judge determined Tang, who spoke through a Mandarin interpreter in court, suffered severe dementia and ordered her to a psychiatric facility. The couple, of Chinese decent, had been married for 70 years.
