Newly appointed UK Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Jane Leach has met with Armenian Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan, Ombudsman’s press office said.

The sides discussed promotion and protection of human rights as well as the upcoming parliamentary elections and involvement of Ombudsman’s Office in electoral processes.

The UK Ambassador and the Armenian Ombudsman outlined cooperation programs and agreed to discuss them later.
