The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are likely to meet in New York, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan told Panorama.am and noted that Minister Nalbandian stated last week that the Foreign Ministers will meet in September.

Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov has declared today that the Ministers may meet on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and the meeting was initiated by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in their recent statement had said that the mediators will meet individually with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan to prepare for the September meeting.
