The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has dismissed a report by Al Arabiya claiming that an Iranian diplomat was assassinated in Syria, Asriran.com reported.

It is reported that dismissing the report, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan Qashqavi said that some Arabic TV stations on the pretext of building “bloody democracy” in Syria try to strengthen the position of terrorist groups through information warfare.
