Armenian woman injured in Aleppo

The Syrian city of Aleppo has been hit by rocket attacks. This morning, more than 15 heavy rockets were fired at Aleppo’s Christian-populated neighborhoods of Sheikh Taha, Sulaymaniyeh and Al Jadida; heavy gun fire is heard, Eragoyn website reported, citing a source.

An Armenian woman has been injured in the attacks. She wanted to remain anonymous. We must note that the above mentioned neighborhoods are highly populated by Armenians. No other injuries are reported.

More than 40 Armenians have been killed in Syria since the start of the conflict in March 2011.
