Armenian PM, Serbian defense minister discuss expansion of bilateral relations
Official visits and meeting in recent years have significantly promoted the political dialog between Armenia and Serbia and contributed to improvement of the legal and contractual framework of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation of the two countries in international organizations, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said today at a meeting with Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic and the delegation led by him.
The Serbian minister said that Serbia attaches importance to development of relations with Armenia and the expansion and deepening of bilateral ties in various spheres.
The interlocutors discussed defense cooperation of Armenia and Serbia. They stressed the importance of sharing experience in military medicine, military education, and cooperation in peacekeeping missions.
The sides discussed the Karabakh conflict as well, noting that it should be resolved within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group, through peace negotiations.
