Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia discuss urgent regional problems in Tbilisi
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan who is on a working visit to Tbilisi met today with his Georgian counterpart George Kvirikashvili, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
Welcoming Nalbandyan, G. Kvirikashvili thanked him for accepting the invitation to attend an unofficial meeting of foreign ministers of Eastern Partnership countries in Tbilisi.
The sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached between the heads of Armenia and Georgia during the visit of the Armenian president to Tbilisi. They stressed the importance of mutual high-level visits, consultations between the Foreign Ministries, and promotion of cooperation in international organizations.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Georgia also addressed urgent regional problems. In this connection E. Nalbandyan informed the Georgian counterpart about efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group towards a resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
