Acting Foreign Minister Nalbandian attends CIS Council session of Foreign Ministers
Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian attends the CIS Foreign Ministers’ Council Session, which is underway in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan within the 25th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
As the press department, of the foreign ministry repots, the Council session agenda includes issues pertaining to the enhancement of the CIS efficiency and its overall organization profile.
16 different issues relating to multilateral CIS cooperation, including cooperation in the culture, education, law enforcement, cyber security, emergencies were discussed in an extended format discussed.
Participants of the session discussed and adopted dozens of draft documents related to the 25th anniversary of the CIS, other issues as well as the statements to be adopted by the CIS Council heads of the States.
The next CIS Council session of Foreign Ministers is scheduled for April 2017 to be held in Tashkent.
