Armenian parliamentary delegation to observe NKR constitutional referendum
Armenian parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov plans to visit the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) from February 19 to 21 to observe the preparation and conducting of constitutional reform referendum in Artsakh.
As the press department at the National Assembly reports, the delegation comprises NA deputies Gagik Melikyan, Vahram Mkrtchyan, Lyova Khachatryan, Karen Shahmuradyan, Alexander Arzumanyan and the head of the NA Public Relations Department Arsen Babayan.
To remind, earlier Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on putting the new Draft Constitution of the Artsakh Republic to a referendum. According to the decree, based on the consent given by the NKR National Assembly to the NKR President's initiative for putting the Draft Constitution of the Artsakh Republic to a referendum, the date for the referendum has been set February 20 of the current year.
