Fire breaks out in Yerevan school, 330 evacuated
A fire has broken out in a school located at 100 Bashinjaghyan Street of Yerevan, Armenia. Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received the alert today in the morning. As Panorama.am learnt from the official website of the ministry, the emergency response group of the National Crisis Management Center, as well as six firefighting brigades left for the scene.
On arriving, the personnel found out that the fire had been extinguished by the citizens with the school staff and students having been evacuated from the school building (a total of 330 people).
The fire had broken out in a classroom on the second floor of Yerevan School No. 94.
