Armenia's Nuclear Power Plant renews energy production
After successfully completing scheduled repairing and refueling works, the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) relaunched energy production in the morning of July 7, while it was scheduled to resume operations on July 9, the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources told Panorama.am.
The source reminds that on May 10, the Nuclear Power Plant was removed from power generation networks for scheduled repairing and recharging works.
Apart from refueling and planned repair works, measures continued to be taken in accordance with the program aimed at the extension of the exploitation period of the power unit, currently operating at Nuclear Power Plant.
To note, according to the schedule, the NPP was to resume its operation on July 9.
