LEVON TER-PETROSYAN BRINGS THREATS

“I want our nation to avoid the dangers. Levon Ter-Petrosyan brings threats with him,” said writer Razmik Davoyan who was recently moved away from ARF. He said that he is not against the free elections, but “I wish our nation elects who they want to except Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Once we did a mistake, we should not repeat it,” he said.

He said that probably our nation has some problems with the memory. Davoyan said that the nation should be aware of the forthcoming problems and do not forget their history.

Davoyan said that he was more than sure that these forthcoming presidential elections would be transparent and free.

Estonia’s President to attend celebrations of Soviet victory 65th anniversary

President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves will attend celebrations of the 65 th   anniversary of the in the WWII in Moscow, a spokesman for his administration said on Wednesday.   “I will be in Moscow on 9 May to join other European leaders in commemorative events”, said Ilves.   Five years ago the then Estonia President Arnold Ruutel declined an invitation to attend the Victory Day ceremonies in Moscow.

Deniz Baykal criticized Erdogan for making inhumane statements

Republican People's Party (CHP) leader   Deniz Baykal criticized Turkish PM Erdogan’s statement to expel Armenians living illegally in Turkey, Turkish media reported. It’s worth reminding that Turkish PM told BBC while paying visit to the UK.   Baykal said: “Using one thing to solve another one isn’t honestly done, it’s unacceptable and against humanity.”

Playboy clips played on children’s channels

TV bosses in the US have apologised after preview clips of the Playboy channel were accidentally played out on two children's channels.   A Time Warner Cable (TWC) spokesman said a "technical glitch" was to blame for the mistake, which lasted two hours in parts of North Carolina on Tuesday.   The company was made aware of the error after parents called in to report it. 4 militants killed in Chechnya

  Russian police killed four militants in the troubled southern republic of Chechnya, Interfax news agency reported on Wednesday, citing Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. A group of militants were trapped as police conducted an operation in a mountainous. The gunmen put up armed resistance and four of them were gunned down, he said.

Nigeria’s President to dissolve Government

  Nigeria ’s acting president, Goodluck Jonathan, last night sacked all cabinet ministers in an attempt to stamp his authority on Africa's most populous country.   Jonathan dissolved the cabinet without explanation in his first major act since assuming executive powers just over a month ago.
