MOLDOVA FOLLOWS KAZAKHSTAN AND LATVIA REJECTING ITS ATTENDANCE TO NATO MILITARY TRAININGS IN GEORGIA
Moldova rejected its attendance to the NATO military trainings which are scheduled to be conducted in Georgia, Moldavian press report. Official Kishinev has not yet commented on the rejection.
Earlier Latvia and Lithuania have also rejected their attendance to the trainings motivating scanty financial situation. It is said that Kazakhstan and Serbia have also made decision not to attend the military trainings in Georgia.
To conclude, only Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia from the CIS countries will attend the NATO military trainings in Georgia.
Official Moscow has condemned the trainings announcing that “they are aimed to create instability in the region” (S. Lavrov) and “are direct support the Saakashvili regime” (D. Rogozin).
