PRESIDENT OF SYRIA REFUSES TO PAY TRIBUTE TO AZERI VICTIMS OF NKR WAR

The President of Syria Bashar Al-Asad paid two-day official visit to Azerbaijan. It was supposed that, according to the agenda, the President should to be accompanied to the monument to honor the Azeri victims of Nagorno-Karabakh war provoked by Azerbaijan.

President of Syria refused to visit the monument stressing his disposition over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. It’s worth reminding that Bashar Al-Asad paid visit to Armenia in June and he has expressed his support to contribute to the resolution of the conflict based on self-determination right principle.

Bashar Al-Asad emphasized at his news conference in Azerbaijan that Syria is in good relations both with Armenia and Azerbaijan, hence they could contribute to the resolution of the conflict.

Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are taking legal action against a British tabloid “News of The World” that reported the couple was going to break up. The News of the World, a British tabloid, claimed that Pitt and Jolie had met with a divorce lawyer and had already planned to divide their assets and make arrangements for the custody of their six children. Bus plunges down ravine in South China, killing 6

A bus collided with a sport-utility vehicle and plunged down a mountain ravine in southern China, killing six people and injuring 30. The crash happened Monday afternoon on a highway in the Guangxi region. It says at least 51 people were on the bus, citing police in Hechi city near the crash, foreign media reports say. Sixteen passengers and the driver were seriously injured.

Yanukovich claims victory in Ukraine's presidential runoff

Ukraine's opposition leader Viktor Yanukovych won a narrow victory in the country's presidential election, electoral officials say.
