On 21 September President Sezh Sargsyan will participate in the traditional official ceremony marking the Independence Day of Armenia,” President’s press speaker Samvel Farmanyan declared. In this way the press speaker commented on the mass media publications spreading the news that President Serzh Sargsyan was going to have a meeting with the Turkish PM on 21 September in the USA.

It has been also stated: “Armenia-Turkey political dialogue and the tensions to normalize ties suppose meetings between Armenian and Turkish officials.”
