Goran Lenmarker is determined to pay visit to Armenia

OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Special Representative on Nagorno-Karabakh and South Ossetia Goran Lennmarker is determined to pay regional visit to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia in November, Azerbaijani media reports.

The exact date of the visit is not reported.

In an interview to the OSCE press center, Lennmarker said that regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution the situation is rather optimistic.

"I am glad to say that I think the situation now, late 2009, is more optimistic than I have ever seen before," Lennmarker said after a meeting with the delegations of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia to the OSCE PA at the Parliamentary Assembly's autumn session in Greece.

Lennmarker welcomed signing of the Turkey-Armenia protocols to restore diplomatic relations.
