Tel Aviv says Erdogan statement nonsense

Tel Aviv expressed its harsh disposition over Turkey’s PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan interview with The Guardian.

According to Cumhuriyet, Erdogan strongly condemned Israel in his interview. He slammed the Israeli foreign minister, claiming that Avigdor Lieberman had threatened to use nuclear weapons against Gaza.

“There is no need to pay attention to every nonsense,” Press Secretary of Israel’s MFA said, according to Israeli Haaretz. The periodical underscores that by his words the Turkish PM actually even more increased the tension in Israeli-Turkish relations.
