Turkish parliamentarians due to visit Baku

The Foreign Affairs Committee members of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly are due to leave for Azerbaijan today. The Chair to the Committee Murat Mercan will head the delegation in Baku, CnnTurk says.

The Turkish delegation will have meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Majlis Speaker Oktay Esadov, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadiarov, the Chairman to the Majlis Committee for foreign and interparliamentary affairs Samed Seyidov.

The Turkish parliamentarians are due to return to Ankara October 30.

Azerbaijan’s parliamentary delegation visited Ankara during Turkey-Armenia football match.

OSCE appoints new Envoy on Freedom of Media

The 56 OSCE participating States appointed today Dunja Mijatovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina as the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, according to the OSCE official website. Swedish Parliament to vote on Armenian Genocide motion

The Swedish Parliament, Riksdag, will vote today on a motion to recognize the 1915 Armenian Genocide, the Radio Sweden International informs.
