Expert says delaying of protocol ratification is not beneficial for Armenia

Armenian Parliament should not wait until Turkey ratifies the signed protocols, we should not delay that process, Stepan Grigoryan, the director of Globalization and regional cooperation analytic center told the reporters.

He says Armenia was the initiator to normalize ties which has significantly grown our image in the world. Expert ensures currently we should not wait until Turkey ratifies the documents.

“Delaying the process is not beneficial for us. We should ratify them and deal with other issues,” expert said adding that Azerbaijan might use the delay and start pressing on Turkey to link Karabakh issue with that matter.

”The more we delay the ratification, the more we link Karabakh issue with Armenian-Turkish deal. The more we delay the more we make our business difficult,” Mr.Grigoryan said.

According to the expert Turkey though has power opposition, will ratify the protocols. Most possibly they will ratify them in December or January.

Bus plunges down ravine in South China, killing 6

A bus collided with a sport-utility vehicle and plunged down a mountain ravine in southern China, killing six people and injuring 30.
