Turkey’s PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan is due to raise issues over the government’s democratic initiatives (issues related to the Kurds, Armenians, etc.) at the Turkish Grand National Assembly today, the Turkish Sabah daily said.

Erdogan is to address the parliament a number of issues of state significance. The PM’s parliamentary address agenda will cover the following, according to Sabah:

The Armenian initiative: Turkey’s PM is to raise the issue over the Armenian-Turkish normalization, stating it is going to raise Turkey’s image.

Alevine initiative: Erdogan is due to introduce the steps taken so far and determine the works to be done next year.

The Kurdish initiative: As Erdogan said, this is a state policy component. The military conflict under way for 30 years by now still remains unsolved. The PM is going to speak over the necessity of the peaceful regulation of the conflict.
