Clash broken in Turkish city of Izmir
Eleven people, including four policemen, were injured Sunday when clashes broke out at a Kurdish rally in western Turkey, forcing police to fire warning shots in the air, Turkish media reports. A brawl erupted between a group of Izmir citizens and pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP) supporters in a convoy welcoming DTP leader Ahmet Turk, who paid a surprise visit to the city on Sunday. A quarrel between some citizens and DTP supporters turned into fight as the DTP’s convoy proceeded to the party’s local headquarters, in the Basmanet neighborhood. Several police officers and citizens were injured in the fight and windows of some cars in the convoy were broken.

“We can protect our being only by our type”
The type is the most important value. Type. It’s not a good or a bad one; it’s just called a type. Our speech is different, our music is different, it is ours and our being are conditioned by it.
