Georgian Parliament adopted statement against Russia

Georgian Parliament adopted a statement on Tuesday calling on the international community to have definite influence upon Russia aiming to return Abkhazia and South Ossetia back, Interfax reported. The statement adopted by the Georgian Parliament accused Russia of violating the international norms and Medvedev-Sarkozy agreement. Georgian Parliament called Abkhaz elections “false” and cynic.

OSCE appoints new Envoy on Freedom of Media

The 56 OSCE participating States appointed today Dunja Mijatovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina as the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, according to the OSCE official website. Swedish Parliament to vote on Armenian Genocide motion

The Swedish Parliament, Riksdag, will vote today on a motion to recognize the 1915 Armenian Genocide, the Radio Sweden International informs.
