The financial aid allocated to Nagorno-Karabakh by the US Congress will not be affected by the talks that are under way now, politician Sergey Markedonov said, according to 1News.az.

The politician said, it’s not the first year the talks are held between the parties and it’s not the first time the US Congress has allocated financial aid to Karabakh.

Markedonov referred to Abkhazia and South Ossetia issue and said the abovementioned Republics are not recognized either, nevertheless, the US Congress doesn’t make any allocations to these. This is how Nagorno-Karabakh is different from the other conflicts.

According to the politician, Azerbaijan’s dissatisfaction over the allocation cannot anyhow affect the US influence in Azerbaijan.
