Davutoglu signified opening of Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish borders

 

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu declared regional conflicts, particularly Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict should be settled in order peace, stability and prosperity rules the region, “Tumgazeteler” reported.  
Davutoglu who arrived in Kars was met by Kars’ Governor Ahmet Qaran and Igdir’s Governor Amir Chicheq. One of the reporters said that Turkish products are exported to Armenia through Georgia and asked when Turkey’s eastern border with Armenia will be opened. Davutoglu said regional peace demands opening of two borders – Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani.

“Opening of those borders will grant peace and prosperity to the region. When we signed protocols a year ago we were guided by those perspectives. We wanted normal ties among regional countries,” Turkish FM said.
