“Remaining committed to its policy Azerbaijan once again carried out a diversion rudely violating the ceasefire on Armenia-Azerbaijan contact line,” Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

The Ministry said that as always, Azerbaijan ascribed the diversion to Karabakh issuing a report that allegedly the Armenian side suffered casualties in the fight. It is misinformation, according to the Ministry.

“Thus, it confirms that the Azerbaijani authorities disregard the efforts aimed at Nagorno Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement, periodically commit provocations artificially destabilizing the situation on the contact line and endangering the process of negotiations.

The policy of Azerbaijani armed forces, their provocations escalate the situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan contact line, moreover, they do not correspond to the statements of Azerbaijani leadership on their readiness for peaceful resolution of NKR conflict,” statement said.
