“Diversion group attack repulsed, NKR army subdivisions control the situation”
Azerbaijani media reported that allegedly the diversion attack was organized by the Armenian side and allegedly 2 Azeri servicemen were killed in the diversion, another one was injured. They said those killed were officers, the body of one of them was left on Armenia’s side. Spokesman for NKR Defense Army Commander Senor Hasratyan talked to a panorama.am correspondent commenting upon those reports and the September 4 diversion.
“That was another disinformation of Azerbaijani propaganda. It is the third similar incident on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line lately. Every time the Azeri side after being repulsed tries to lay the blame on Armenia,” he said.
“The body of an Azeri serviceman is on our side presently, besides, at least two Azeris were killed in a mine blast while they were taking to flight. We have no casualties, and the Karabakh army controls the situation,” Hasratyan stressed.
