Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's official visit to Azerbaijan was an on-duty visit, Azerbaijani analyst Zardusht Alizade was quoted as saying by Vesti.az.

Commenting on the sales of C-300 systems to Azerbaijan by Russia, Alizade said even if the information is true, this will give nothing to Baku.

Azerbaijan was trying to give big importance to the signing of gas deal in the sidelines of Medvedev's visit to Baku, as it would enable to grow scales of Russian gas exported to Azerbaijan.

As regards the growth of gas scales, Alizade said there is nothing extraordinary over this.
