Georgia to host former world leaders

A delegation of 131 former world leaders arrived in Batumi today. Half of the delegation will stay in Batumi for several days, while the other half travels to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former Defense Secretary William Perry have arrived as part of the delegation, and will fly shortly to the capital.
The visit is part of a symposium on "Russia and the Black Sea," which began on Aug. 30 and will run until Sept. 15. The symposium is run by World Leaders Travel.
The delegation has reportedly visited Russia and Turkey.
After the Georgia visit, the delegation will head to Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
