Azerbaijani MP calls Russia's Medvedev a "lad"
Azerbaijani MP Elman Mammedov has made a remark which could raise diplomatic clamour. Mammedov has called Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who was paying official visit to Baku, a “gyada” (lad), Azadlig informs quoting Modern.az.
“Russian Embassy in Baku will probably respond to the remark made by Azeri MP. Azerbaijani late MP Shamil Gurbanov had insulted Former French President Jacques Chirac saying: “Jacques Chirac suffers from rabies” which had raised clamour between Azerbaijan and France. In terms of this, Russia is expected to demand explanations from Azerbaijan over Elman Mammedov’s remark,” Azadlig said.
