Iranian analyst: Turkey is not capable of affecting Iran’s nuclear problem

Turkey is not capable of seriously affecting Iran’s nuclear problem. Turkey rather attempts to show that it also plays role in international issues, Bahram Amir-Ahmadian, Iran-Russia affairs analyst, told irdiplomacy.ir website.

“Turkey seems to be willing to prefer commodity circulation with Iran to that of with U.S., or announces it will not join UN economic sanctions against Iran, but all this is merely propaganda, Turkey declares it to please Iran,” analyst said.

According to rajanews.ir website, U.S. economic sanctions against Iran resulted in 74 percent decrease in petrol volume imported by Iran from Turkey in July.
