The PM of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci said that Qatar, Kuwait and Oman are expected to soon recognise the country's independence, local media reported.

The decision made by Qatar had been communicated to Thaci by Prince Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani.

“I have received confirmation from the Prime Minister of Qatar and from the country’s prince.

Now we are just waiting to make it official according to the laws in Qatar,” Thaci said.
The PM said Kuwait and Oman are expected to do the same soon.

70 out of 192 UN member states have recognized Kosovo independence so far.
