Book “Nagorno Karabakh: How It Happened” launched - “We present facts and not imitate our neighbor’s cheap propaganda”
The launching ceremony of book “Nagorno Karabakh: How It Happened” took place today. The book is authored by Yerevan State University Professor, Doctor of Philosophy Alexander Manasyan; it was published on the initiative of the Presidential Administration Center of Public Relations and Information.
Book’s print run is 500 copies. It is being translated into English, Russian, Persian. The book will not be put on sale. It was given to higher education institution and senior school libraries on the 19th anniversary of NKR Independence. The book will be also distributed among diplomatic representations and delegations of Armenia in foreign countries to make available to everybody the truth about Karabakh which is constantly distorted by Azerbaijan.
“The book is aimed at raising public awareness on Nagorno Karabakh historical and political, traditional, ethnic, cultural and other spheres,” expert of the Center of Public Relations and Information Alen Ghevondyan stressed.
Speaking about the book content author Manasyan said we should realize that there are no legal, historic, political bases and arguments to hinder recognition of Nagorno Karabakh independence.
“Azerbaijan has no argument to bring forward against us in our honest fight. Despite the flow of false arguments from Baku, Azerbaijan has no right argument in that package,” author said. “Meanwhile, we have not yet convinced the world that all arguments of Azerbaijan are false.”
