Armenia to open Embassies in the Netherlands and Japan

Armenia’s government approved at Thursday session the presidential decrees on opening Armenian Embassies in the Netherlands (seat in the Hague) and in Japan (seat in Tokyo).

According to the RA government’s press service, the decision comes in Armenia’s interest as two other South Caucasus countries, Georgia and Azerbaijan, have their diplomatic missions to these countries, and Japan has Ambassadors to Baku and Tbilisi.

The executive has also endorsed the offer on signing agreement between the governments of Armenia and Italy on lifting visa requirements for persons with diplomatic passports.
