Armenian FM to OSCE MG Co-Chairs: Participation of Nagorno-Karabakh in the talks is a must
On September 9, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Bernard Fassier, Robert Bradtke and Igor Popov, as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk.
According to the MFA press service, the Co-Chairs briefed Minister Nalbandian on the results of the discussions they had with the authorities of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh in Baku and Stepanakert the previous days.
The Armenian Foreign Minister underscored that the immediate participation of Nagorno-Karabakh in the talks is a must and it will considerably contribute to the settlement of the issue.
During the meeting reference was made to the incidents in the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan and their possible impact on the negotiation process and the situation in the conflict zone.
The interlocutors discussed the further steps, the continuation of the negotiations based on the Madrid principles.
