Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan received Thursday the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Armenia Ata Serdarov.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, Hovik Abrahamyan voiced hope that his activities will further strengthen and deepen Armenia-Turkmenistan mutually beneficial relations. The Speaker expressed readiness to back the formation of the legislative field necessary for the efficient development of bilateral relations.

According to the NA press office, the Speaker signified the development of interparliamentary ties between the two countries expressing readiness to support their reinforcement.

Turkmen Ambassador Ata Serdarov assured that he will use his skills and experience for expansion and development of Armenian-Turkmen ties.

The sides also discussed issues related to bilateral relations.
