“Turkey’s current leadership reminds me French bourbons, who didn’t forget anything, but hadn’t learnt anything as well. Today, the Turks keep speaking about the “occupied” 20% of lands which made the international community feel bored,” Republican speaker Edward Sharmazanov told Panorama.am making his remarks on Turkish President’s and FM’s statements at PACE summit that “Azerbaijani lands are still occupied”.

Deputy said that through Genocide Turkey owned historical Armenian lands and through occupation they owned historical Pontic lands, thus they deprived two nations of their homelands.

“Official Ankara keeps closed the only closed border of Europe. This is the only country longing European Union so much and keeping its neighbor in blockade. Due to financial and military support of Turkey, Azerbaijan occupied NKR lands in Shahumyan, Getashen, Martunashen and Martakert.

The world should unveil the real image of Turkey. Having Armenian and Greek complexes, Turkey always appears with those topics,” E. Sharmazanov said.
