US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attempted to unveil reason for failed Armenian-Turkish protocols

 US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is currently paying visit to Turkey, to attend the ministerial summit of Libyan contact group, had meetings with Turkish senior officials.

According to Turkish “Zaman” daily different mutual and regional issues have been discussed in a meeting with Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu.

US Secretary of State and Turkish FM have focused on the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Armenian-Turkish, Turkish-Israeli relations.

A comprehensive discussion on the Armenian-Turkish relations was held in a meeting with Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of “People’s Republic” Party (CHP).

Turkish “Nethaber” informs Mrs. Clinton has accused the Turkish opposition of failing the Armenian-Turkish mending process: “When I asked the government statesmen why the Parliament doesn’t discuss the Armenian-Turkish protocols, I was told that CHP is against the ratification of the protocols.”

Kilicdaroglu expressed his surprise towards Clinton's statement saying: “Government doesn’t provide any information concerning the protocols. We read media publications to get some information about those protocols. While the ruling party forms the majority in the parliament.”
