“Azerbaijan needs frozen conflict to strengthen the Aliyev clan,” military expert Davit Jamalyan said in a news conference on Friday.
He said time works against Azerbaijan and the positions of Armenian armed forces will be strengthened and to unvoice Artsakh will be impossible. “And it seems unrealistic that things will be changed in favor of Azerbaijan,” D. Jamalyan said.

D. Jamalyan said in Artsakh the state expresses the will of its people by 100 percent. Artsakh understand the peace maintains through the border configuration they own today and Artsakh understand that not a tuny amount of land should be yielded.

There isn’t a single practice in the world when self-determined side yields lands to former metropolitan.

Sooner or later, according the expert, Artsakh will be recognized as an independent state with the borders defined by the Constitution of Artsakh.

D. Jamalyan said Azerbaijan knows if they resume war, Armenian armed forces will reach up to the River Kur.
