Rallies have been held in USA and Canada opposing war and economic sanctions against Iran, Iranian “ISNA” news agency reported.

According to the source more than 60 human rights and peace organizations held rallies in front of US mission office in UN and Israel’s Consulate building in New York chanting “No to war!”, “No to sanctions!” and “No to terrorism!” slogans.

“I don’t know what President Barack Obama has planned, but sanctions against Iran have greatly damaged civilians,” Debra Swit, chairman of “World cannot hold on” organization, said.
