Head of “Heritage” Party faction Styopa Safaryan has again raised the issue of Armenian-Turkish protocols which are maintained in National Assembly agenda.

“Maintaining them in NA agenda won’t do anything good,” he declared.

S. Safaryan used to raise the same issue in former sessions also, and he received the same answer every time – the issue is under president’s jurisdiction.

“In fact my answer doesn’t differ from early remarks, as the issue of protocols is under president’s jurisdiction. And I think it must be maintained in NA agenda as it is highly respected by the international community,” Parliament Speaker Samvel Nikoyan said.

“Heritage” faction leader has stated that the faction has to vote against the Big agenda where Armenian-Turkish protocols are sustained.

Today, National Assembly launched its spring session activities which include 137 issues and 20 international treaties.
